For my visual rhetoric, I choose a soccer picture from google, this was a very important game for the team, they were down by the score of 4-1 and they did a comeback bringing them up 6-5. For the entire fan base and the club, this was an important day, and it was very emotion. So, when I look at this picture as a fan of this club, I think of that day, and it gives me goosebumps. 

Some of the characteristics of this picture that break this picture up into different pieces are: 

modality: the quality and the nature of this visual lets us know that it’s a photograph taken with a high-quality camera that captures the moment perfectly. 

verisimilitude: this visual is a picture which makes it very real. there are faces which automatically make the quality higher. There are many bright colors that bring your attention to it. 

claim about the world: the claim to the world is how important a sport moment ca be to the fanbase. Teammates celebrating their win together represents unity. The fans of the winning team are celebrating while the opposing team upset.
