In this chapter it talks about communication, culture, organizing. All businesses in a sense have all three and they might not even know of it. Communication is to view it as a people process rather than a language process. There are two types of behavior. Defensive behavior and supportive behavior, defensive behavior is defined as that behavior which occurs when an individual perceives threat or anticipates threat in the group. Supportive behavior characteristics are description, problem orientation, empathy, equality and provisionalism. They both describe different aspects of communicational behavior that are important in the business world.
