The power of talk

in this chapter the power of talk it tells you how men and women are treated differently at work. In the chapter it says that women lack self- confidence but it's not that. In some workplaces women are not treated well and when they leave the organization and make their own business, they become very successful. This is all due to how they think they should communicate, and it happens because the different style of the way someone talks.  I choose this visual creation meme. It says that women get less money than men in some workplaces. which is not how it should be. It should be how hard you work and how much you are helping the company be successful. Chapter 3 HBR:10 (text) "consider the man women who have left large corporations to start their own business, obviously exhibiting tough confidence to succeed on their own." the women that start their own jobs they are more successful because they don't have no pressure on them. they have their own business they have a lot of self- confidence. they are not getting miss treated. Women don't lack self-confidence but it's rather more of the way you talk that determines of how much recognition you get. To be recognized you need to learn the style of talk of the other person and unfortunately many organizations lack that which makes them think that women aren’t confident.
